In March, Energy Alberta had the opportunity to meet with the Peace River business community to share information about the Peace RiverNuclear Power Project and hear directly from local business leaders. The event, hosted by the Peace River & District Chamber of Commerce, included a presentation from Energy Alberta’s senior leadership team, followed by aQ&A session and one-on-one conversations.

Energy Alberta is focused on building strong relationships with local, regional, and Indigenous businesses, providing them with opportunities to be involved throughout the Project. At this early stage, businesses are encouraged to register as potential suppliers to help identify and understand local capacity for goods and services needed during development, construction, and operations.
